This January, we gathered in Brooklyn to celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of our Building Beautiful Futures Philanthropic Initiative with the “Making Bold Moves” event. There, we shared exciting news announcing that actress, producer, director and philanthropist Meagan Good is now the 2023 Brand Ambassador for Dark & Lovely. In this role Meagan will bring awareness to our leading hair color portfolio and lend her voice and time to engage young women around our Building Beautiful Futures Initiative.
The evening also featured a BOLD conversation with Meagan, Marketer/Digital Creator, DonYé Taylor, and was moderated by Dark & Lovely’s Marketing Director Tenaj Ferguson, who kept guests engaged and inspired throughout the session. In partnership with the BrainTrust Founders Studio, we also revealed the winner of our recent pitch competition, Janell Muhammad, founder of Selfie Skincare, who received a $5,000 Building Beautiful Futures grant and 360 business consulting.
