I have always been skeptical about using a dry shampoo on my hair due to a bad experience I had before with one leaving a white powdery substance on my hair before that made me wash it completely out. This hair refresher by Dark & Lovely is the TRUTH! It has a fresh, light scent. I used it on my braids and there was no residue at all...neither visually nor by touch. I also used this while wearing a black shirt and sprayed the length of my braids and there was no residue on my shirt either. I have a very sensitive scalp and I had no issues with it either. I will definitely be getting more of this.

Protective styles last a while so it's typically harder to mange your hair while it's in the styles. I've been using this refresher spray about a month now and I am head over hills in love. It smell sooo good! I like that I don't have to use a bunch of it to get results. It does not leave my hair wet. And I love that the smell last for a long time. I've been wearing braids lately and only needing to use this refresher maybe twice a week.

It also doesn't leave a flakey residue. That's very important to me. I highly recommend this product for anyone that wears protective styles.

I spray it on in the mornings and use my fingers to comb through my braids making sure the product was distributed. The scent is light and not over powering and they kept my braided styles looking and smelling fresh. I highly recommend this product for braided styles.

When I use this hair refresher, my hair feels and smells great and gives it a fresh appearance. I just use a few pumps and rub my fingers through my hair and I’m good to go.
